I returned to trains after a near-lifetime hiatus.
In the first half of 2015, I bought scads of CDN roadname stuff off CDN sellers, in Canada, on ebay.ca.
3rd-Rail, Weaver, Atlas-O. About a dozen engines. Scores of cars.
Now, there's nothing! One of the sellers I bought from has disappeared. The other gone to HO.
Seems I returned to trains at a particularly auspicious time. Weird coincidence.

This is a market I also follow on eBay. It's a coincidence. There are proportionately fewer large collections of CDN road name O gauge trains available for someone to sell on eBay, and likely most have been acquired from estate sales rather than retail stock. Another bunch may come up tomorrow - or may not come up for a few years.
I spent years looking for VIA Rail F40PHs to go with my VIA Golden Gate Depot Canadian set. Glad they were offered in the most recent catalog!
