I have had this loco for a few years, purchased new in exchange for a MTH model. I have made this a shelf queen for a number of years because of the annoying habit this loco exhibits when attempting to run after a period of inactivity. I normally run my locos by road name i.e. all C&O, LV, Erie, etc. . When it is this locos turn, it suffers from a lack of power to pull the lightest of trains. I have tried the "normal" corrective actions including lubrication. Has anyone else experienced this. I want to try dismantling the motor rotors and checking alignments and torque values, but I want to know if anyone else has had this problem.
