I'll never forget the three NJ Transit trips that I rode behind her at track speed (79 MPH). Open vestibules, no diesels and no slip and fall lawyers aboard (that I know of).

On one of the trips, she carried a N&W hooter for the guest of honor, O. Winston Link. That was trip that I decided to carry only my scanner and forego photography and audio recordings like I did on the other two. 

Here is one of my audio recordings as we departed Port Jervis and climbed Shawangunk Mountain out of the Neversink River valley. 10/26/97

I'll second that.  Free admission to the Heritage Center and the subscription to the magazine are both worth the price of membership.
