Car Ferry loads

A question about the larger types of railroad cars transported aboard the Great Lakes car ferries.

I've seen photos of the big, 80' plus auto racks (both double and triple deck) being loaded onto Ann Arbor

car ferries and I'm wondering if the large hy cube auto parts cars also crossed the lake aboard the ferries.

Can anyone reference evidence that this ever occurred on Ann Arbor, Pere Marquette/C&O or Grand Trunk Western

ferries?
