that normal gassolean ..it about natural gas in which it burns cleaner then diesel doesnt burn that clean..Most of your citys school busses covered to natural gas.even your propane trucks are powered by propane..

Houston METRO is going with CNG in buses which are not artics.

There might be a developing market for natural gas fired locomotives, as the incidence of cancer is alledged to be higher around major terminals, such as Long Beach, due to diesel particulate. Our friends, the lawyers, have already "smelled the meat a-cookin" on that one. I would imagine railroads would want to greatly reduce their exposure at such terminals with many idling diesel motors (truck and railroad). Nat gas might be next best move, prior to electrification?

would be cheaper in fuel cost..burns cleaner

If the railroads go online big time with natural gas, you'll see the price skyrocket.

Is there a translator in the house?

That is the law I was thinking of.

Nothing to do with railroad tunnels though.

May have something to do with natural gas in RR tunnels. Ka BOOM!

Same reason BN crews did not like the big storage tank behind their engines.

I like NG as a fuel, however, It's getting cheaper, helps a bit with the clean air.

Better used in trucking. Use smaller fuel tanks (less danger) with more fuel stops,

much better for the air. T Boon Pickens is on the right track.

And do you have to call haz-mat when the cat releases to the atmosphere?

Not so much with cats, but when one of my dogs does....holy hannah, you'd think someone was making and/or burning tires
