It was an Ethanol train (playcarded 1987). Unfortunately I was on the wrong side of the tracks when it came to sunlight... Oh well!

Well maybe you should consider investing in a camera recording system or at least a game camera pointed at the tracks to record all your otherwise missed action. Just a thought.

Agreed. What started my fascination with them was carbody DL&W diesels in Binghamton, NY in the Fifties: So big, so loud, so powerful.
Is NS going to keep the heritage units as they are? But the paint is starting to wear and get dirty. NS is now eliminating everything non essential and that costs money. PSR. The heritage units were Wick Moorman’s idea. He is more of a buff than the current CEO. Wick is now a partner in the rebirth of the EBT.
