Very interesting. That looks rather unnerving, watching the brakemen working at track level with such close clearances!
I have to ask: what exactly is the procedure for swapping out locomotives? ( e.g.: the blue signals, the time before an engine moves, etc.). How has it changed in the past 80 years or so?
