I finally bought a MTH Z - 4000 , and I will be changing out my two z-1000 blocks what will I be seeing in this change? Better control of power, better features and using of accessory power.
It's good to have the meters to be able to watch loads on the transformers. I believe you should have more available power to the tracks. On my G gauge, that allows for smoother running bigger trains.
I do understand w/MTH Z-4000 I can remove the Z1000 (2) that connected to the TIU and powered up two independent track lines, when I connect Z-4000 onto the TIU I will be able to recognize the amount power running I kinda relieved not guessing about amperage.
