I have no legal background, but I have seen these raffle offers and wonder if they are allowed by law.
I haven't bought any tickets this round, but some years back k-line was having an open house there and I won a Mikado in the roadname of my choice. Although I think that was a door prize. Love that engine, but unfortunately shorted out the tender tether this past Christmas; still trying to fix it.
I did it last year (Didn't win.). Might still do it this year too, but haven't decided yet since I don't have the best luck in the world.
