That is good new and bad news from my point of view!

I got a shipping notice that a shipment (ES 44) from Charles Ro was to be delivered today.I got another notice that it was delivered at 12:12 pm, I went outside to look for the package and it was no where to be found! after an hour of looking to see if it could have been left at some of my outbuilding; it was not around. I called Charles Ro and talked to Butch and he would call Fed X to see what the story was, within 10 minutes butch called back and said, fed x said they left it at the mail box. Well my mail box is 1/4 miles from my home I live in a rural area; went there and no box to be found, I call Butch back and he said he would call fed x back and see what can be done. and would call me tomorrow.

I have no idea what are my options, I guess I will call the police in the AM and let them know I am missing a package, I believe Fed X is responsible to deliver the package not 1/4 miles away from my home, it stated on the fed x notification that I got via email that it was to be home delivered so do not understand why they would leave it at my mail box 1/4 miles away from my home, in fact I believe it is not legal to put non mail in a mail box or by mail boxes? I think my last option is to notify my credit card company that I am denying  the charge because it was not delivered. I do not like to do this   because it puts the burden on the seller which I believe Charles RO ;who I have been dealing with for over 20 year and has always been top notch customer service.

so who is responsible? would appreciate any thoughts or experience anyone has on this .

you wait 8 or 9 months for the product and it looks like it is missing in action and it was charged to my credit card.

Well I finally received my ES44 it seems the the fed X guy left it at another house another street 1 mile from my street the only thing in common was it had a  300 street number same as mine! a neighbor dropped it off yesterday and said it was left at her mail box,

Unbelievable but a Merry Christmas!

Yeah but it wasn't the delivery drivers fault. He left it at a mailbox!

I have the same quarter mile from my home to my mail box, so both Fed Ex and UPS have delivery instructions to leave packages at my front door.  You do that online at their website after you have logged into your account.

And I will sometimes get a call from a driver at my mailbox, saying "I cannot find your front door".  The mailbox is on a different street.  So, I give him directions how to get to my house.  That happens with new drivers as my directions are posted at both UPS and Fed Ex's offices.

Only had a driver mess up once.  Not finding my house, he just drove to the nearest house on the street with my mailbox and left it there.  After I  called UPS to find out what happened to the package, they gave me the address where the driver logged in that he had "delivered" it.  He had to drive back there, pick it up and bring it here.
