Why are the prices hidden?  Do different people get different prices?

     On BTO products dealers can only advertise a 10% discount however if you call you can get a larger discount. I am sure if you are a steady customer they will offer you a better discount than a first time customer. That is my guess but call them to see what you get.

Actually with these engines and cars the list price is the MAP price unlike previous items. Such a deal.

I got the same e mail and a price 0f $1200.00 was on mine,but I then purchased the 5 Starr general train set complete for $299.00!

You have to call for the prices because Lionel has a MAP pricing program on these products. We offer these Below the MAP price if you order before June 30th 2019.

I've called and the discount is real but small on the locos, but substantial on the cars.  Obviously the margins are different .  I say this as a constant and satisfied Charles Ro customer.
