These aren't for me, but it's nice to see Lionel introducing "Made in the USA" rolling stock with availability just a month or two out... rather than overseas stuff that has a much longer lead time.  We're all a bit tired of unnecessary production delays.

Quality of the "Made in USA" boxcars has been excellent.  I really liked the National Train Day boxcar.  Terrific graphics!

I saw a video somewhere showing these "Made in USA" boxcars being knocked out on a machine that looked like a glorified color inkjet printer. This explains their ability to deliver hundreds of different boxcars for every obscure interest in small quantities. On the other hand, the graphics have low resolution and poor contrast. I have several of these types of boxcars printed using  this process and you can see the pixellation and ratty edges on the graphics. But they look great from 6 ft away.
