If there is not a train shop there called "Chattanooga Choo Choo" then someone missed a great opportunity.

I can’t answer your question about O gauge train stores in Chattanooga but in the middle of July there will be plenty of O gauge trains there at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Hotel for a few days as that is the site for the 2013 LCCA Convention. The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) will be hosting their 43 rd Annual Convention July 14-20 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel in Chattanooga TN. Lionel will be there with their operating layout and display. For tour information go to the convention section on our website www.lionelcolectors.org. Lionel representatives will be there. We will have free clinics in the evenings for our conventioneers, You may want to consider joining our club at the "join the Club" tab on the main page of our website. We will have tours with operating layouts, real trains, civil war themed etc. Lionel will have their annual seminar on Friday, July 19. On Saturday, 7-20 we have a train show that is open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit a local children's hospital. I guarantee you will have fun if you attend.
