I am being picky about the cars & trucks on the layout. Not quite as picky with the trucks as I just don't find what I need.

I don't want anything newer than a 1949 model and it really thins the selection.

I have had zero luck with what I term "Heavy Equipment" like bulldozers, steam shovel etc. I finally found a cable controlled Bulldozer. It's Int. Harvester Red VS the Desired Cat Yellow but it's at least the correct controls.

I may cave in and put a BTTF Delorean on there somewhere, just for grins.

The "low rider" pickups parked in front of the diner came from Walgreens.  They were "extremely expensive"  --- a buck for the set!  They're die-cast and have window windshields.

The Coast Guard Hummer was purchased new in Walgreens, too.  It came with a boat on a trailer; all for about 8 bucks.  The two RVs at the right side of the screen came from different train meets.  The one closest to the Hummer cost me $3.00.
