Just wanted to share this with you all. Today while at office depot to look at label makers I stumbled across this cheap desk top organizer. It was on sale for $15. It is made of sturdy very thick cardboard. A little little krylon rattlecan gray paint and some stripping and now I have a cheap and convenient tablet and dcs remote holder. The only modification to the stock organizer were two square holes on the bottom of each of the small slots on both sides to allow my mth dcs remotes to set all the way down into the organizer as seen in the photo. It holds two dcs remotes a 7inch android tablet and my full size Ipad for my lionel lcs apps. Not to shabby for $15 and 15min of work. Enjoy.

Keeping hand-held RC units conveniently handy but out of the way is a challenge to one's creativity. Here's my solution for mounting several LIONCHIEF controllers.  I cut 2-inch wide Velcro strips with the "hook side" applied to the fascia board and the "fuzzy side" applied to the back of the controller. The grip of the Velcro is "strong enough" to hold the items in place, but "weak enough" to allow easy removal for use. Photo attached for reference.

Never thought of which side of the Velcro to use on what. Thanks for the idea! For one of my MTH remotes, I am using an old (very hold ) landline phone receptacle.
