WOW great vid. Those model railroaders have to have pretty deep pockets and extraordinary mechanical abilities.
Very cool. If you think this end of the hobby is expensive, you should try pricing those. I'd bet one of those big shays runs well over 30K. It helps a lot to be a machinist and have a shop full of tools.
I thought about it ten years ago because there is a club pretty close to me, but it was just a passing fancy.
