Here is the largest passenger station I have ever seen. It was built by Alex Malliae for Brian Vale (passenger train collector) to service the large passenger fleet Brian runs.

Wow, that is sweet.
Wow! Wish I had the room! Looks like 7 MTH banks maybe?
Marty - I agree that Alex did an amazing job on this station and Brian showcases it with his fabulous passenger train collection extremely well. Brian planned his layout very well and executed his vision beautifully. We can learn from how this was done.

Very nice. I could just fit that on the front of my layout, (nothing else), maybe a couple of street lamps.........lol. Must be around 6 feet in length.
Here is the photo I should have put up first. This shows an extra long platform on the upper level that Alex also built.
I've been to Brian's and have seen it. It is unbelievable.
Wow nice station, and what a train board!
Tin
A grand station to highlight Brian's grand passenger trains!! Alex did a great job on it and fits in nicely on Brian's layout.
Great layout! One I have to check out further. Great job guys.
Brian's station is amazing and looks perfect on his layout. Alex did such a nice job on it.
Fantastic !
Looks like a kit-bash of about seven MTH bank buildings? Am I correct?
Anyway it was a great job!

Thanks for sharing this Marty. I too have had the pleasure of seeing the wonderful work on Brian's layout. The Passenger Station is a masterpiece. Alex did a terrific job and if anyone has the opportunity to visit Brian and Elizabeth's home, go for it. They are wonderful, welcoming people and you'll get to see his scratch built Newport Bridge that also adorns the layout.
Awesome station!! Marty thanks for posting.

I am sorry the pictures are not better. These are from my phone. I will show the rest of what I have. Trains are not the only hit on this monster layout.
Looking good Brian!
Fabulous!
Peter
Fantastic layout. Looking at all those city scenes, I drool with envy. They look absolutely GREAT. Brian, I need a better look so I can copy some of that for my next layout. I look forward to seeing you at York.
And of course Alex does great work. I have a smaller "Alex station" on my layout. He also did a fantastic job for my brother (PRRBill), did a great job on Weaver Reading Crusader passenger cars for me and has a couple of my projects "in the works".

Marty,
Thanks for posting these pictures of Brian's layout. I had seen some teasers in Brian's postings but never this comprehensive view. Brian, your layout is awesome; especially that complete station scene! Alex does do excellent work; I am proud to own the 4 bank version of Penn Station that he built.
What a nice focal point for a layout! I hope to see it in person someday.

Beautiful layout. I also hope to see the layout in person some day.
That's awesome.

Thank you all for your very kind comments. Marty, special thanks to you for being a really good friend and highlighting this masterpiece by Alex.
The station is a composition of seven MTH Bank buildings. I shared my vision will Alex and he turned it into a beautiful station. The sheds above the station on the upper level are also Alex's work and they complete this beautiful station complex. There are also stairs that Alex created that go to the elevated level.
The new station project was the centerpiece of our renovation project last year. It was particularly pleasing as my Bride got to put her input into the layout with her ideas on how to make the layout better. Whenever you can get your wife as interested in trains as you are, this is a very good thing.
Again, thank you all for your comments and thank you Alex for making this a reality. Your work is simply OUTSTANDING!
Kinda blows that, "Anyone can do that theory", right out the window, does it not? PTC is without any doubt a builder/owner of a, First Class, layout. The builder of the station doesn't do bad work either LOL! Great photos, Marty!
Brian, Alex - congratulations on a beautiful, breathtaking project!
How about more detailed, HD pictures?
Marty, thank you for starting the thread.
Alex
Alex, I go nowhere without my camera. That day I left it in my car and went with Chris Lonero last minute. I had to do my best with the phone. This layout is a must see. Brian invites everyone and I find it hard to resist great people, great trains, a boat ride on his lake and lobster for lunch.
WOW, I just logged on and saw this beautiful thread. First I want to thank my great friend Marty for posting this, I also want to thank My great friends Brian and Elizabeth for giving me the opportunity to create this beautiful station, lastly I want to thank all the fantastic friends I have from being a part of this awesome forum. I'm truly honored,
I thank you all for the beautiful comment's, a Little more insight on the structure.
The lighting inside is coming from 110 volt power, it was the only way to light the huge structure up. It's also a total of 9 MTH banks kit bashed together, I needed parts from two other banks to create this. Seven out of the eight banks you see were completely taken apart and then kit bashed.
Thanks,
Alex
Great job Alex. I actually thought they were lit with LEDS
Great photos Marty. Marty has been a great supporter of our train club. He is just the greatest model railroader I know...and know what else, he is the greatest person I know. Bob hilliard
Wow! Wish I had the room!
Tell me about it! That layout is as big as the entire first floor of our house! Who, me? Envious? You bet!
Very nice work and a beautiful layout!
Wow!
Nice work!
Andy
Alex, one question. Do you ever sleep? Between your own projects and doing work for everyone else how do you do it?
Nice job as always.
Pete
very nice, i grew up just down the street from this station it was built in 1901 and
i feel that is is quite unusual and a good candidate to build scale model?

A layout that's exclusively passenger trains requires grand stations to reflect that. Alex's creation more than fills the bill, truly a work of art. This is one of my favorite layouts with the added benefit of having the finest D56 "cities" I have ever seen. I never tire looking at pictures of this layout.
No wonder I can't find a bank for my layout!!! But WOW!!! That is very nice.
