I normally don't post about this subject as it is a 2-rail show and I am a 3-railer.  But, we have been attending for the last 5 years or so and started by going to the layout tours.  I have some advice....................................................................

DON'T MISS THE LAYOUT TOURS!

Registration is $20 and it is a bargain in my opinion.  This is one of the highlights of the model railroading year for me.  The layouts and scenery are awesome.  You will see a couple operating sessions that will inspire you.  At the show at the Westin in Lombard you will see scratch building supplies and figures, die-cast cars, and buildings that are perfect for us and that you won't see at most other shows.  A big selection of cars that you can easily swap the trucks and couplers for 3-rail.

Don't be like I used to be and pass on this show because it is for 2-railers, it is a great show.
