This of course is a picture of our Allan Miller as a young tike. He was going through his Beatles period haircuts at the time. Notice, no trains but there is a pool table. It was almost his downfall, loosing most of his presents to a local pool hustler. Don

I think there is trolley on the pool on left side?
GGW, good catch. I didn't see that. Wonder if he still has that? Don
There's a steam engine behind the doghouse.
Great photo.

Nice going eagle eye Frank. I wonder what all those toys are worth now? Don

Since there are lamps and electricity use in the pic., I don't think that this is Allan Miller. Allan is too old; there was no electrical distribution when he was a kid.
I hear tell that after losing to Allan at pool, his father thought his son had the makin's of a pool shark. He rigged up a lighting system with wet cell batteries so Allan could practice at night. Then someone name J. L. Cohen (sp?) got wind of that and tried to make something of it. Last I heard he was making gondolas that ran on little tracks in store windows to get customers' attention. I wonder how that turned out.

This photo was taken in 1922. I think Allan was born in the '40s. In any event, Allan does not look 96.

Yep, editing keeps him young.
Thank you. I was bewildered, as the haircut, attire and trappings appeared to be from my father's (b. 1917) time.
What, me worry?
