This isn't the greatest video since it was shot in low light on Christmas Eve. However, it does show the joy of a five year old boy receiving his first Lionel, a Thomas Remote Set. Near the end of the video, he does a nice impersonation of Mike Reagan as he demonstrates how to use the Lionel Remote. Of course I'm a little prejudice since he is my youngest grandson.

We got that set for our hairdresser's 2-year-old grandson. He's having a ball! He can't say, "Remote," so he says, "emote." After he opened another present or two, he asked, "Where's my emote?"
Thanks for posting this wonderful video of your grand-kids. Your grandson could be a poster child for Lionel. I loved how he started to explain the features for the remote control.

That's very nice, and you got the title of your post right.
Great job Dillon and BradFish1. One proud grandfather and one proud father. Can only imagine what these two young men will collect and operate in the future. Guys thanks for keeping the hobby moving forward.

I agree both men are doing a great job keeping our hobby alive,
even with all the people I help with their DCS trains, I wish I had a Grandchild to
pass our hobby on too.
