It’s that time of year again. A time when stores set up Christmas displays and people set up trains under their Christmas trees.

As train enthusiasts, we’ve all seen and rolled our eyes at that sad store display where the train and its cars are all out of order. I’m talking the caboose directly behind the locomotive and the tender somewhere far behind. Or even worse, the whole train is completely off the track.

I’m looking for any photos you guys might have of a particularly unfortunate store display or a train under a tree that’s completely discombobulated. This is just suppose to be light hearted and to cause a laugh amongst us model train enthusiasts. And yes, I understand store employees and non-railroad enthusiasts (parents and children alike) aren’t suppose to know the correct placement of certain cars in a train.

Look at this poor train. The caboose is completely off the track, and even has a wheel popped out of the journal box!
