I am having trouble trying to figure out the right curves to use on a siding for my xmas tree layout.  Can't seem to get the siding to be truly parallel to my main line.  Using Lionel Fastrack, the switch is an O36; I've tried a mixture of O36 curves, quarter, half curves, and tried mixing in an 048 half curve.  What is the best way to fix this? Do I need to insert a different radius quarter/half curve in here?

BPUFF,

In reality FasTrack does not make a perfect specialty piece for this situation, even their quarter small specialty pieces,  are just a might off for this engineering.  There is a way to achieve it, you must make your own special FasTrack piece.   I use the Rockwell X2 Portable Table Saw for making all my  Special FasTrack pieces, they can be cut from your existing FasTrack pieces, in any length and curvature you need, this is especially nice for FasTrack close out pieces that do not exist.  Bought the X2 at Lowes a few year back, for $80.00 with my Veterans discount.  Once you have this set up you never worry about FasTrack speciality pieces again, you just make your own for perfect layouts.
