As a cigar smoker I would love to blend the fabulous cigar makers art on boxes and labels with my model railroading. I plan to use the cigar label/maker artwork on my buildings and, perhaps, an undecorated reefer.

Okay, I'll jump in. The art is great! For those not in the know, you can stop in at smoke shops, and ask if they have any empty boxes. Usually, they just throw them out, and are willing to give them to you. My eldest son and me have accumulated several hundred empty boxes this way. And they are practical for storing small parts and general stuff.
Now, to bring it into our forum, I am trying to figure out how to incorporate them into my layout. I have been considering using them as a trestle for an elevated train. I think the art would be quite striking on my totally unconventional layout.
And the circle is complete.

Wouldn't both of those illustrations look great on the side of any building.

Nahh Cigars need more Testosterone
Cool idea. Having grown up in the Tampa Bay area I saw dozens of different cigar logos as a kid from the various cigar companies in the area. Hav-a-Tampa comes to mind, but I'll have to do some research and develop the idea. I like the idea of converting a reefer or two into a cigar car.
There's a lot of good cigar art out there - I'm not a fan of smoking but I like this idea.
Very cool idea. I would love to have this art on my layout, perhaps as a billboard or sign on a building. I wonder if there are hi-res images that could be printed.

Fantastic subject matter that I've not seen since the very early 1960's. I most certainly remember the Lionel boxcars carrying logos from the, General Cigar Corporation, American Cigar Corporation.
We can forget about the late 1970's and the Class Action Lawsuits.
