Anyone have any idea who the young man is in the catalog? He'd likely be in his early to mid-fifties today. It would be interesting to see what he remembers about the creation of the catalog and/or the trains.

CMC was founded by Fred Mills and Jerry Williams in 1969. The partnership didn't last long, and Williams left in a couple of years to found Williams Reproductions Limited. So the youngster in the 1970 catalog may have been some relation to Mills or Williams. Or not.
I suppose there is also a remote possibibility that he might be a young neighbor of Jerry Williams, who was very into trains at a young age, later worked for Williams after school, and ended up buying out WRL and renaming it.
Or not.
