Brains appear to be lacking in this young man.
WOW! Only 19 years old and he is already terminally STUPID. Wonder how/if he'll make it to 20?
I've heard of kids deflating their tires about half way on vehicles that the tires line up with the rails and will go for a joy ride from one crossing to another with their hands off the steering wheel. Apparently the car will follow the tracks. I wondered if that is why he wanted a picture. Maybe in order to show his friends his car lines up.

Just my opinion but, I really don't think that idiot had the brains to figure out such a trick!
Some dumb person tried to beat 425 at the crossing in Jim Thorpe last year coming out of the parking lot and lost. 425 was returning to the station running tender first. It hit the edge of the van and pushed it aside as the train stopped. There was minor damage to the tender step, etc.
That man just wasn't focused on his surroundings. What a wake up call for him. There was also a vehicle struck last year in Nesquehoning and I was wondering if this incident posted happened at the same location.

I've seen that trick in movies. (Can't name any).

The Flim Flam Man starring George C. Scott is one.

Thereby neatly integrating my interests in James Bond, Mercedes-Benzes, and trains (and I think the circus train may have had a gi-raffe or two)...
