Had the opportunity last Saturday, albeit late at about one hour before ending, to stop by firehouse and view both North Penn's o gauge setup and that of the n scale club represented there too.
Both North Penn and the N gauge club are more great examples of local clubs making the effort to put our hobby "out there" to the general public and promote interest in it. (BTW, judging from those folks I saw viewing, commenting on and taking photos of your efforts, I'd say you promoted it in a really positive way that might well result in a few more youngsters and even teens becoming interested in mrr in the near future.
Congrats to all those involved!
Also, hah3, I did have the opportunity to stop by your Henning's store and glad I did.
Got a really attractive (i.e., reasonably priced) verbal quote on having ERR TMCC installed in an 0-8-0 rtr engine and I certainly plan on following up and when it in when time permits in the near future.
