Mine are:

GLANCY MODULAR RAILROAD:  Although I'm not a member, the Glancy Modular Railroad is a club in our area.  The Club is supported by the Detroit Historical Society (and, by Lionel, I believe) and regularly assembles and operates their  large Lionel modular layout at most of the big shows in our area.  (Several Forum Members are members of Glancy Trains.) Glancy also has an annual display at The Henry Ford Museum, in Dearborn, MI, during the holidays and, also at the annual "Festival of Trees", which I believe is held in Dearborn, MI.  In this regard, you can bet that there will always be a large crowd of children and their parents around the Glancy exhibit, and, the friendly club members always seem to be very patient in answering the numerous and varied questions from many onlookers.  Here is the link to Glancy Trains:

DETROIT MODEL RAILROAD CLUB:  I may actually look into joining the Detroit Model Railroaders Club, which has an Open House continuing through today, Sunday Dec. 4th, in Holly, MI.  I'm sure such a membership would improve my 3 -rail layout building skills immensely, even though the club is a two rail club. Here is a link to the Detroit Model Railroaders Club well-written description of their layout, with accompanying photographs of the layout itself:

GRATIOT VALLEY RAILROAD CLUB:  I still spend time with the friends that I made by joining the Gratiot Valley Railroad Club, an HO Club, that is building a 2400 sq. foot, free-lanced layout in a building that they own in a Northeast suburb of Detroit -- not too far from the former headquarters of Lionel in Chesterfield, MI. I joined the club to learn layout building skills, which, of course, are largely transferable to the 3-rail hobby. Here are some pix of the GVRR layout: http://www.gvrr.org/gallery2.htm

There are many wonderful clubs all across the country.  Do you have a favorite?
