Yes it is. I had one for some years, but I found it easier to wet a cleaning cloth and stretch it over a board and clean the track. I think that car is one of the best out there. Probably great for the inaccessible tracks on a layout.

I purchased mine from Yankee Dabbler trains but they were back ordered so I had to wait a couple of months but it is the best solution to my track cleaning issues that I have ever used. I tried Woodland Scenics, magic eraser and clean cloths using denatured alcohol and nothing was satisfactory until I ran the CMX cleaning car - best money ever spent for my layout.
