I have a small switching layout of about 26'x2' that i decided i would run my scale locomotives even if it was point to point. so I decided to build my layout as a railroad yard. Although not my dream layout it gives me the chance to display and run my scale engines even if it is just back and forth. I'm still having fun and enjoying the hobby. Been building this layout for only 3 months but making progress.

Also the many friends I have made is amazing and one of the most amazing is Alex Malliae. I just received a coal tower that Alex built for me, it looks great and I am very pleased, thanks buddy.

Alex is one of those great to have friends... I am constantly amazed at his work, that it makes me kick myself to get downstairs and work harder on the layout. He has the "vision" that I have seemed to lack over the years, and extreme patients working on the railroad

I like your layout and your bottom line goal. start modeling and run some trains and make some friends. that is the most important 3 rules in this hobby, and I noticed over the years sometimes I have to take my pulse to see if I am even alive after a few hours in the train room.

Keep up the great work. can you show us more of your layout?
