Well we don't have a basement to run our trains in, but . . . . . it was a little chilly for the first weekend of our annual Holiday
Express event. Enjoy. Russ

Awesome! And everyone had fun!
That was...fascinating. Ya'll are just walking around in that stuff like it's normal. Did you hear the wind? Then, you get on the trains and ride around in it. Really.
I especially like the DRGW F-units gone to ground at the end. I mean, I'm not glad that the guy's equipment needs manhandling, but that it look so much like...a train wreck in the snow. Because it was.
There is a big 1.5" scale layout about 2 hours east of here, in NW Florida. Been there. In August. Not at all like this video.
"Been there. In August" our regular season is Memorial Day to Labor Day with a couple of special events off season. We have 37 actual miles of track on 2,200 acres of pine forest. There are more videos and pix on our website. Thanks for the comments, it really was fun in spite of the cold. We had good crowds all weekend and the smiles on the kids faces was awesome. Russ
Oh did that look fun! I love it, the snow and trains....Christmas....ya just can't plan a better day. Great video, thank you.
Brrrrr! I had to have a hot chocolate after watching that. Thank you for a fun video.
"Brrrrr! I had to have a hot chocolate after watching that" Well our hours were 10 til 3, so hot chocolate until then BUT at the third strike of the clock . . . . . Russ
Great Video
That's a great celebration!!! And a dedicated group of enthusiasts riding too!!!!!! thanks for sharing!!!
looks like a nice event, and the snow made it special,
And since this is a two weekend event and its still snowing in Oregon, today's festivities included a little plowing and then a pass with the spreader! Russ
That looks like it was a blast......except for the derailed F unit.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
