Having a small layout has many operational problems. For flexible freight operation I need a car near the end of the "mainline" train that has uncoupling capability anywhere on the layout. I want to be able to pull one or two cars from the end of the "mainline" train with my TrackMobile and move it to an appropriate switching area.
I believe the easy answer is a Command Control uncoupling car, though it may be at some expense. My layout is planned for small (ACF and/or PS-2) covered hopper operation.
Where could I get Lionel Command Control with ElectroCouplers installed in a covered hopper car?
