Does anyone know how to check out the main boards on the 6-22975(CC Culvert Unloader) & 6-22965 (CC Culvert Loader). Also does anyone know the source for the main boards for the units should I need to replace them. Lionel has no spares.

What do you think is wrong with them?
Are you talking this board in the unloader?
And this board in the loader?
Yes that was what I was writing about. I fixed the problem with the loader. It was a broken wire after careful examination. The unloader is still not working. What happens is the warning lights flash for a second or two and the office does not light up with the car carefully positioned. Looking at the wiring there appears to be no breaks in the wiring. I have supposedly set it to Eng 1 again but I have no way to know for sure. Any recommendations as to testing the circuits would be a appreciated.
I'd start by checking all the wiring. Then I'd take the R2LC and test it separately, and then test the DCDR separately. You need to narrow down the possibilities.
All I have in the way of test equipment is a voltmeter. Can you provide some tips on how to test.
Well, I test components in my bench test set, for someone in your position, I'd stuff them into a working TMCC locomotive. I know the R2LC has specific code for the loader, but it drives the DCDR, so it should still control motion and do something for the outer outputs.
I confess to never having to actually test the electronics in these, the problems I've experienced have been with switch adjustments and fine tuning the jaws for dropping the culverts.
Any chance the boards from the new culvert loader and unloader would work with these? The part numbers are different for the complete accessories, but maybe the boards are the same? I have these on order, but they haven't arrived yet.
Of course since they aren't available yet, the parts probably won't be either, but might (and hopefully should) be at a future date?
Since there's no information about what's in the new one, it would be a total guess as to what the electronics will look like.
