I have a Chesapeake & Ohio locomotive (older model... 2005 or 2006). Recently when I head my Legacy 990 remote the sound start up sequence from the tender does not engage (sound does not come on). When I turn the wheel on the remote and get the locomotive moving, in about 10 or 15 seconds the sound from the tender comes on. All seems normal. I shut it down and it shuts down normally, but the same thing happens again when I try to start it back up. I have looked for loose connections, changed the battery, and looked at all connections. All seems ok. Is a board starting to go bad. My experience is they just go. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
