I just received my Tie-Jector. Mostly it works fine but at times a tie gets stuck. I noticed the ejectction mechanism is at a slight angle. It doesn't bind, but I'm thinking maybe that's the problem. Has anyone else experienced this as well and if so, any fixes?

I also have the TMCC Tie-Jector. I'm very careful to stack the ties one-at-a-time and completely flatso that they aren't in any way skewed.
Still, occasionally the mechanism with try a few times before ejecting a tie. Then, it runs smoothly to eject the remaining ties.
Also, be careful to not stack too many ties. Just use enough to fill up the holding area.
Thanks. I was careful loading as Barry suggests and it performed more reliably. Also I did watch the Lionel product video and Mike R. Just loaded them in and it worked fine. I suspect the alignment of the ejection scoop probably is key. Mine sits at a very slight angle. I'm going to open it up and see if there is a simple/easy way to straighten it out. My grandson loves it!
After spending some time with it I discovered the problem. First, one of the ties would hang up often. It's now on the work caboose. 2nd, if I stop the mechanism when it's in the full up position then load in as many as 11 ties, it works flawlessly 9 out of 10 times. I'm satisfied. It's a very cool, entertaining operating car.
