This is a scratch build model of the Como roundhouse. It has been shortened and with less bays so it fits the layout. The stone walls are from Scenic Express. This goes on the same layout as the Alpine Tunnel engine shed.

Your scratch build is spot on. That sure brings back memories. While stationed at Ft Carson, Co ('66-'67) I did quite a bit of trout fishing around Como and remember seeing that roundhouse. Wish I'd taken photos of it instead of trout. Here's what it looks like now.

are two pictures of the layout it will be going on. The layout is being made by Bill Woods in Colorado. The stone building already on the layout is the Alpine Tunnel engine house I made a few months ago
