I have a question. Are Hotwheels or similar scale cars compatible with S-scale trains?

Well, I have used Hot Wheels that seemed to be the right size. Their scale can fluctuate. A lot of die cast vehicles are 1/64 scale. The old Racing Champions line, and those that came after, not to mention the Ertl farm toys make extensive lines of models.
Die Cast direct has a 1/64 section.
In addition to the die cast toys the old Aurora "HO" slot racing cars are actually about 1/64. so it is possible to have scale like cars running on your pike.
Thanks. I'll keep this in mind if I ever want to build a S scale layout for my extensive Hot Wheels collection. Oh, and how big an area would you need for a decent S scale layout?
