Hi everyone!

My name is Cory and I'm a brand new member here so if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I hope someone will kindly let me know.

I spent the last few months restoring my grandfathers old layout from the late 50's.  As much as I would like to decorate this board with all sorts of accessories, I can't.  I made a promise to some of my extended family that I would restore this layout to the EXACT condition it was in when my grandfather built it, in order to honor his memory.

The small (5 X 8) layout features two reversing loops and a siding where trains wait for each other to pass. The auto-running is controlled using WWII Navy surplus radio relays.

The Lionel engines and cars used in this layout are:

736 Berkshire
205 Missouri Pacific
3359 Twin Bin Coal Dump Car
6560 Bucyrus Erie Crane Car
3562-50 Operating Barrel Car
3494-275 State of Maine Operating Box Car
6162 New York Central Gondola Car
6414 Auto Loader Car
6119-100 D.L.&W. Work Caboose

Now, the work is complete and I am very happy with the results.  As a new member I'm excited that I get to share it with everyone here at OGR, as I have been visiting this forum for a while as a non member.

Enjoy!

In response to POTRZBE, I thought about adding removable accessories, but decided that the most fun thing to do would be to start a new layout from scratch, of my own design, and decorate it to the limit.  I'm working on a design now.
