Computer Doesm't recognize TIU

Hey guys!

I just downloaded the DCS Loader Software for my HP Pavilon G6 Windows 8 Computer and attempted to install the Serial port to USB drives from the MTH Website, I then proceeded to back up my remote, but when i went to start the backup, the computer said, "critical error, no serial port detected." Did I do something wrong installing the serial port to USB drives?

Right click on My Computer, select Manage, and then open Device Manager. Let's see a screen shot of the expansion of the Ports (COM & LPT) area, see following example.
