Very nice Andre.
Very realistic.
Thank you guys!
Andre.
Andre,
That will be an excellent kit!
Dave
Very nice looking Andre.
would there be a possibility of offering your concrete railing as a component as well? i think if priced well , you would have many takers
Domer,
The kit will be the whole assembly.
In the architectural parts the balustrade and blocks will be available.
Some other share will cut soon.
thank you for your input!
Andre.
Looks great Andre. I agree, if the concrete is offered by itself, I imagine many would be interested, myself included.
Jeff
Andre,
Your creations are beautiful, love it !!!!!!!!
Alex
Thank you guys for your kind comments.
I am having some pc issues, but are almost solved.
Andre.
Any chance you could just make the piers for your bridge available?
Andre,
Looks like you have created a serious product that many will want, if your customize your sales, great product for O gauge layouts, no doubt about it!

Thank you guys!
Web site updated and prices available.
any question please feel free to contact me.
Andre.
There are a host of styles available for reproduction, from simple arch style to sculptured ballaster. It's a shame that the art is gone from architecture.

I know! The good thing is that they can be reproduce per request.
I made the simple one.
thank you for your heads up!
Andre.
Your stuff looks great. Made to scale, very realistic looking and I see that you are a two rail modeler. Must admit that it does look better than three rail but three rail is the way market was developed so most of us run it.
While most of my layout is scratch-built I will measure up and see if I can find a place for that concrete bridge. Is the bridge made in one piece or three pieces (sides, and bottom road)? If I decide to purchase the bridge, could I just use the parts to adapt it?

Dennis,
The amount of rails doesn't alter the product!!
My items are for 0-27 to what ever you want.
The bridge is made in pieces, the idea is make something versatile.
In my web site you can find the balustrade, piers and the whole bridge as a kit.
if you want a special plinth shape we can work it out.
let me know
Andre.
Great choice, Andre. Many applications for this bridge.

Very nice, Andre!
Hey Andre,
Do you have any kits that look more like the ones Rix makes for HO and N Scale?
Andre,
Looks like this will be a great kit. Nice work.
Alan Graziano
Very nice ANDRE!!!! You still DA MAN!!!

HI,
The Overpass is very similar to the Rix kit.
if you want I can send to you more pictures and some close ups.
Alan and Laz, thank you guys!!
Andre.
Yes, that would be great!
Recently I had Andre modify this kit so I could put a highway bridge over my yard in order to try to visually break up this long yard area. It is made up of three kits with extended length piers and doubled to make them thicker. This is a really nice, easy to build kit.

Awesome! I love it!
how is the road supported across the piers? I dont see any concrete beams underneath the road going from pier to pier.
Is the road a hollow core pre-tensioned beam?
That looks like a great kit! Has anyone gotten one?
Andre,
I wish I thought of this as I was building the overpass - Wouldn't it look really good if it had some streetlights? Within the last few months Woodland Scenics has come out with some really nice looking LED streetlights that would work well with this bridge. You would need a new part to replace part of the railing for the light to mount in and then off course some way to run the wires under the roadbed. Just a thought!
Ken
I think HO size will fit perfect over the balustrade block. Drill it will be easy because MDF is soft.
the idea is not bad at all.
thank you a lot for your feedback, ken!!
Andre.
I am always a day late and several dollars short, but could someone provide the location of AO's website. My Cajon Pass layout will need just what he is supplying but I can't find the website.
Thanks,
Larry
@AG - Too funny!!! I had bought a Walters Urban Concrete HO Overpass kit and had started a thread regarding the lack of such structures in O Scale. Yesterday, I started CADing up an Overpass for 3D printing purposes.
I really like your surface texture. I was debating what spray paints I could combine to give me a textured surface and aged concrete look.
Anthony
Oops...I see this thread is about 6 years old.
The thread predates my 3D printing and laser cutting projects. I would 3D print the balustrades with a slit to insert the 2D laser cut dividers.
The supports would have notches for the transverse beams and notches in those beams for the stringers.
Looks like @AG hasn't visited here in a while, maybe you guys could send an email to him (listed in his profile page). This is a great looking overpass.

Am I right in thinking this is an HO kit? If so, will you be offering one in S/O scale?

Good idea. The one thing I didn't like about it, is the sidewalks should be wider but that assumes it was meant for pedestrian travel.

Take a look further up in Kanawha's post. You'll see the one Andre made for him is O.

Many bridges I've seen that were built in the early part of the 20th century in smaller towns and rural areas, it was common for there to be little to no dedicated sidewalk. Usually there was light traffic so the cars would (hopefully) drive around the pedestrians, waving with all five fingers. Things have changed since then.
