My 90 block DCS controlled layout operates well with 2 TIU's in super mode and I'm now converting control from using 4 remotes to multiple iPhones, each talking to 2 WIU's, each connected to a separate TIU.

Since I have the ability to hardwire my reliable home wifi modem directly to each WIU, can anyone tell me if that will work or do I have to go the route of creating an MTH wifi network by making one WIU a master and the other a slave?

Second question - does multiple WIU usage require changing the TIU's from super to conventional mode?

Really would appreciate advice from anyone who has multiple WIUs, each attached to a separate TIU.

Thanks,

Stew

Leave both WIUs in mth mode and connect them to your wired home network. Ignore the wifi networks created by the WIUs and keep your phones on your home wifi network.

In the app there is a place to set super mode. Each device and remote will need to be set to super tiu mode.

Should be good to go from there!

My question is, would they not default to the either network and have to be told WiFi?
