I have two layouts in my basement. Would I be to connect both layouts to the same base3. Plan on connecting them together at some point but until then can I connect to same base3 unit
I don't see a problem since you connect a single wire to ground from the base3. As long as you are sure the power supply or transformers are in phase, or synchronized hot-ground.
I have a layout on a table and and overhead track seperately powered, both connected to the Base3.
If running accessories from a PDI cable, you may need the PDI bus joiner if the PDI cable run is too long.
