Thanks. However, the railroads I'm familiar with, out west, seem to refer to them as Business Car Specials, or Director Specials, or Engineering Specials, or Inspection Specials.
Ah ha! Different railroad, different nomenclature, same function.

PS The picture posted above is a custom built train a friend of mine made. He has since added the second E unit and lengthened the train to all 9 cars.
