Anyone wired a O-27 lionel 1122 switch to constant voltage for use with a SC-2? My switches are the old version and doesn't have a wire you can cut like in the lionel instruction video.

The wires are there, albeit with no slack like on the newer switches. You would have to remove the bottom plate to access the wires better, and either rivet or screw the bottom back together.

Is this a DC-type switch with 2 diodes and resistor?
Still wounded how to hook it up to the switch motor?
