Hi
I would like to add another flat car with front end loader or other type of construction vehicle. I have the flat, I just need a source to find nice construction loads that won't break the bank. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I've bought 1;50 diecsat heavy machinery off of ebay for a fraction of what the big diecast stores sell them for.
The difficult part is finding 1:48 or 1:50 size construction items from the late 1940s thru mid 1950s.
Doesn't get much better than constructionscalemodels.com (Buffalo road Imports)
Thanks very much Rattler, Rick and Lee. I appreciate the suggestions. I took a quick look at the ebay link and that provided a good result.
Hot Water, you are absolutely correct. I can find all sorts of "modern" construction equipment however a 1950's era dozer is hard to find or very expensive.
I have to walk the fine line between cost and what will look good on a premier flat car. One of my favorite flats is the MTH with low profile mining equipment. It's fun to finally have my trains out of boxes again and have these discussions. Next step is some Mianne Benchwork.
Thanks again for the input.

Paul, when you come to Trainstock you can speak to Bob I, this is his train
Hey John
Thanks so much for that video - very cool! Some great ideas for additional loads in a Gondola along with the flats. Looking forward to TRAINSTOCK.

You might want to try your local Tractor Supply Company store. They often have 1:43 items for a very reasonable price. Both the "lineman's truck" and bobcat shown in this photo came from TSC. The Pilot and Flying J truckstops often have 1:43 toys with construction equipment. I saw some two weeks ago while I was getting coffee in a Pilot truckstop.
Here's another view of the same scene (from the opposite side of the layout):
The forklift in this photo came from a truck and trailer set I found in Wal-Mart or Target a few years ago. I don't think I paid ten bucks for the truck, trailer and forklift.
(The pallet came from a bag of toys I paid $3 for in Dollar General.)
(No laughing from the peanut gallery, but the "twin gas cylinders" in the foreground and background were originally items used to hold 1:43 cars in place in packaging. They were laying on my workbench after I unpacked the cars when I noticed they looked like the cylinders we used to palletize and ship when I worked in a military packing and crating shop years ago. A few minutes later, the forklift was busy with a load of cylinders on pallets!)
Was at the Tractor Supply getting a new mower tire and spotted a bunch of John Deere farm equipment. Price was between 5-15 bucks depending what you grabbed, I picked up 2 combines for a load.
Worth the stop!
A Weaver bulkhead flat with a couple of Ertl 1/50 John Deere pieces.
