Controlling Gargraves Uncoupler w SC-2

Was not sure if I should post this here or the Legacy Forum. Here goes....Can anyone offer me guidance on how to wire Gargraves uncouplers to an SC-2 so that I may control them with my legacy remote. I can confirm it is not as simple as connecting hot and ground from SC-2 to the uncoupler while powering the SC-2 with the supplied wall wart and powering the track with a 180 W brick.
