I recently had a issue with a new legacy c420. Everything worked under command. But, it conventional the horn and bell didn’t work. Os the offset voltage applied to the Ed lite board. I know they word stand alone. Or, does something change using rcmc. In other words can it be the rcmc? Instead of the usual suspect the sound board.

The sound board detects the offsets in conventional mode, that doesn't change using the RCMC.  FWIW, the only board the RS-Lite Legacy board works properly with is the RCMC, the commands are different coming from the Legacy R4LC.  I recently got an education in the differences.

John,

A little confused....aren’t he boards currently sold by err railsounds lite. Or, are you saying it can’t drive other boards

The Legacy boards are basically the same hardware as the RS Commander, however the software on the board is totally different.  Just because you use the same hardware platform, that doesn't mean the functionality is the same.  Consider the R4LC, it's used in early Legacy and also for the ERR TMCC packages.  Again, the software is totally different, but the hardware platform is exactly the same.
