I have looked through previous posts and am still baffled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's my dilemma. I am running all conventional. Began with Legacy, one 180 brick and a tpc300. Awesome. Added a loop on seperate block, another 180 brick, and another tpc300. Small glitch, but I figured out that another dat/com wire needed to daisy chain to the second tpc. Still awesome. Added two more blocks for a total of 4 and a BPC. BPC claims it can distribute power from 2 TPCs to 4 blocks of track. Thats what I need. Hooked it up yesterday literally exactly like page 9 of the BPC users manual. bpc
UH oh. Nothing. Double checked wiring. Looks right. Pulled the jumper off the BPC again and tried designating again. Nothing. The BPC light comes on as if it is working. Tried a thousand and one different TR, ACC, and AUX1 combinations. Still baffled. Im wondering if my problem is that since Im conventional, the dat/com wire should go from base to one TPC, daisy chain to the second like I had on just 2 blocks, and then to the BPC. May be there is something in the diagram in the manual that needs to be modified if your running conventional. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There is a chance that you may be overloading the Legacy's Dat/Comm output with too many devices. Do the lights flash properly on all the serial devices?

The Legacy Base serial output does not put out anywhere near as much current as the older TMCC Base. I have built up a Booster product to restore the full output capability to Legacy.
Thanks for the replies. As mentioned, I did have it wired exactly as page 9 of the manual. I then remembered my previous glitch of not daisy chaining the data/comm wires between the TCPs. So I took page 9 with the Legacy base dat/com connected directly to the BPC, and then daisy chained backwards to the second tcp and then to the first. Got no change in results. I did not try restoring things back to my two block 2 brick 2 TCP setup and then just daisy chaining the dat/com from the second TCP to the BPC. I thought about trying that this evening and also with any ideas from this post. These are the only devices and accessories on the layout at the moment, so I am unsure if Im overloading, but Im not proficient enough to tell. It looks like all the lights function properly. When something is not right, I see that rapid green light blinking when I spin the wheel. However, when I think Im close, I get that green light like all is well. Thanks again for the help.
I rewired all the dat/com and daisy chained from the legacy base to TPC1 to TPC 2 to BPC. I checked all wire connection points. Trains are running somewhat. Yeah! Im hoping that all I have to do is figure out the sequencing on the handheld and which button to push to make the desired block to function with the correct TPC. Im pretty sure it aint the sequence listed in the manual which I think is geared to Command Control. When I get that figured out, Ill add to the post for future use. If anyone has this already figured out, your input would be greatly aprreciated to shorten the learning curve. Thanks.
