convert ATlas pass cars

Has anyone converted the Atlas Amtrak pass cars from 3 rail to 2?? Is it tough? Can I swap the wheels inside the trucks or do the whole trucks need changing?? Would the lighting work with just a connection or do I have to rewire??

You should be able to change out the wheelsets. As for the lighting, you'd disconnect the wire from the soon-to-be-removed pickup roller and have that wire wipe the right-hand wheelset.
