thanks but  my unit is the old postwar model great northern

Phil open it up and check. I'm pretty sure the Pantographs are operational already. If not there should only be a wire to hook up to them and extend them upwards.

i still have to disconect the powerpick up rollers i think the pantographs have to be split it would be the same as putting a pice of metal across the track a dead short
