Have installed the Tmcc board and sound card by making the necessary changes correctly. The system will not work correctly no matter what I do. The system acts as though Its half under  Standard and half under  Tmcc  The two motors will not coordinate together . One engine wants to run full speed with the voltage setting while the other motor runs properly obeying the Cab 1 commands. When reversing, the motors switch behavior. Ive tried to fool the board by running one motor alone and by running both motors off the same output but still get the crazy action where in one direction they run full speed or speed controlled by the voltage setting and not by the Cab 1 command. Normally when operating properly under TMCC control the engine would run based on the Cab 1 speed control regardless of track voltage setting. What I am getting is only part Tmcc control.

THe cruise commander is supposed to read the back emf of the motors to keep the in sync but I don't think this is happening.

Any solution suggestions would be much appreciated.

Probably need more info.  What do you mean "running both motors off the same output"?  The Cruise Commander is designed to run two motors in parallel, i.e. from the same output.

Are you sure you didn't turn off the cruise function?

I'd wire the motors in parallel like they should be, and then try the sequence to turn cruise on and see if that helps.
